I'm pretty sure they weren't, it doesn't get quite hot enough over here for that to happen. They were most likely started from lightning strikes, people who forgot to put out their campfires, or from people who for some reason decided to set off fireworks in the woods. That's what it usually is, anyway. I do know that there were some people who actually set some fires on purpose...for whatever reason.
Not saying climate change wasn't a good guess, just that there's a greater chance they were started from something else.
Just wait until it rains (does it ever even rain in Oregon?) :D
Also, the state of Oregon's population is 4,300,090. Fewer people = fewer firefighters :O
Ohhhh yeah, it definitely rains here. It rains all fall, winter, and spring. We’re lucky to get a sunny day in every season but summer. So hopefully we get some rain soon :D

Yeah,this year is really one of the worst in recent times and sorry to hear about the situation you and your family are in.Sometimes we all find ourselves being helpless facing problems that are out of our control.As hard as it is,try not think so much about the outcome and do your best to bring as much positivity to your family and help them whenever they need it.Doing so can not only build a stronger relationship between you and your family but also help mentally prepare yourselves for whatever the outcome will be.What matters most is that you must stay strong regardless of what happens and also for your family.I’ll be praying that things will turn out for the best in your country.

Thank you, it really means a lot. The smokes gotten a lot thicker today. I can’t see much past my front yard, but we’re hanging in there. We haven’t been told to evacuate yet, so we’re just waiting it out. Thank you again, I’ll take your words to heart.
